Following the preliminary round, the Organizing Committee of the "Preserving the Tay and Nung Ethnic Languages ​​for Junior High and High School Students in the Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark" competition has announced 12 outstanding entries that have advanced to the semi-finals.

The competition "Preserving the Tay and Nung Ethnic Languages ​​for Junior and Senior High School Students in the Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark" was launched at the end of March 2025. Participants are members of the "Exploring the Geopark with Me" Club from junior and senior high schools in Cao Bang City and the districts of Quang Hoa, Trung Khanh, Ha Lang, Hoa An, Ha Quang, Nguyen Binh, and Thach An (schools located within the Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark).

The competition content includes: Reporting on the results of activities related to preserving ethnic languages ​​in schools through the "Exploring the Geopark with Me" Club model; and promoting and publicizing the outstanding values ​​of geology, culture and history, biodiversity, natural landscapes, and tourist attractions in the Non Nuoc Cao Bang Geopark using the Tay and Nung ethnic languages. Spreading a meaningful message about responsibility in the conservation, preservation, and promotion of the heritage values ​​of the Geopark.

The preliminary round received 57 entries, including 35 from junior high schools and 22 from high schools. The entries were of high quality and scientific merit; their lively and attractive presentation created a positive ripple effect in the community and schools.

Quang Uyen Ethnic Boarding School - Junior High School actively implements activities to preserve ethnic languages ​​in schools.

As a result, 12 entries were selected for the Semi-finals, including 6 entries from the High School level: Provincial Ethnic Boarding School, Cao Binh High School (City), Hoa An High School (Hoa An), Thach An High School (Thach An), Dam Quang Trung High School (Ha Quang), Quang Uyen High School (Quang Hoa) and 6 entries from the Junior High School level: Hoa Chung Junior High School (City), Minh Thanh Junior High School (Nguyen Binh), Phuc Sen Junior High School (Quang Hoa), Noi Thon Primary and Junior High School, Na Giang Junior High School (Ha Quang), Dong Khe Junior High School (Thach An).

The schools that qualified for the semi-finals of the competition are to prepare their entries according to the regulations in the Competition Rules attached to Plan No. 51/KH-BTC, dated March 26, 2025, of the Competition Organizing Committee.

The semi-final round is tentatively scheduled for May 20, 2025, at the Provincial Central Cultural House, Hoang Nhu Street, Hop Giang Ward, Cao Bang City.
