In practical response to the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the 17th anniversary of the Day of Vietnamese Ethnic Cultures (April 19, 2008 - April 19, 2025), many cultural, artistic, and sporting activities are taking place on Kim Dong Pedestrian Street to serve the people and tourists.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Southern Vietnam and the reunification of the country (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and the 17th anniversary of the Day of Vietnamese Ethnic Cultures (April 19, 2008 - April 19, 2025), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism (CST) has issued a plan and directed its affiliated departments and units to organize practical activities to serve the people and tourists at Kim Dong pedestrian street, Cao Bang city, including: Performing art programs at the Water Wheel stage; Promoting the activities of information booths, displaying and promoting culture, tourism, and the UNESCO Non Nuoc Cao Bang Global Geopark; Exhibiting and introducing books using mobile library vehicles; Experiencing and enjoying cultural performances on the Bang Giang River; The exhibition features photographs on the themes "Some images of the culture of ethnic groups in Cao Bang province" and "General Vo Nguyen Giap with Cao Bang"...

The activities were meticulously prepared and organized to ensure quality, meeting the needs of a wide range of people and tourists from all over the country visiting Cao Bang during the April 30th holiday in 2025. Through these activities, timely propaganda and education were provided to all levels of the population about the magnitude, value, and immense historical significance of the resistance war against the US, the great victory of Spring 1975, the liberation of the South, and the reunification of the country; raising awareness, fostering revolutionary ideals, and strengthening the people's faith in the cause of national renewal, industrialization, modernization, and international integration under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam; and preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural identity of the nation. At the same time, the traditional cultural values ​​and unique tourist destinations of Cao Bang's mountainous region continue to be spread, attracting visitors and contributing to building a more prosperous and developed Cao Bang homeland.

Activities will take place continuously from April 30th, 2025 to May 3rd, 2025 in Cao Bang City Center, Cao Bang Province.
