Pac Bo wild bananas are also known as wild seeded bananas, a type of banana that grows naturally in the mountainous regions of Vietnam. They are renowned for their high medicinal value, mainly concentrated in the Northwest (Pac Bo - Cao Bang is one such region) and the Central Highlands, used to treat various ailments such as kidney stones, stomach pain, constipation, and for making medicinal wine. Identifying characteristics include small fruit, many seeds, little flesh, upright dark red flowers, and a straight trunk, reaching a height of about 3-4 meters.
