The cooperative's shiitake mushrooms are produced organically, ensuring food safety and hygiene. The raw materials are free of impurities, and the cooperative pays close attention to each stage of production to ensure efficient mushroom cultivation, resulting in high-quality mushrooms that are well-received by consumers. The product has been certified as a 3-star OCOP product.

The Yen Cong Agricultural Cooperative, located in Hung Dao commune, Cao Bang city, is one of the exemplary cooperative models. Established in 2020 with 7 members and a total charter capital of 2 billion VND, the cooperative invested in building a workshop and mushroom cultivation farm covering over 6000m2 since the beginning of 2020.

Over the years, many successful, diverse, and innovative agricultural cooperative models have emerged in Cao Bang province, contributing to the restructuring of the agricultural sector and the development of new rural areas.

Currently, Yen Cong Cooperative has invested in machinery for production such as mushroom dryers, sterilization machines, grinders, and freezing warehouses. On average, the cooperative produces 180,000 mushroom substrates annually during the winter and summer seasons, yielding 60-70 tons of shiitake mushrooms. The mushrooms are sold in provinces and cities such as Hanoi, Thai Nguyen, Bac Can, etc., at a retail price of 100,000 VND per kilogram.
