The trout farm in the Phja Oắc mountain area was established in 2007 by SUNNY Paint and Trading Company to take advantage of the cool climate, cold, clean water, and abundant minerals of the region. The investor also renovated the landscape, creating flower gardens, ornamental plants, rockeries, etc., transforming the area into a beautiful place for families and tourists to relax and unwind.
Rainbow trout is a cold-water fish species that was introduced to Vietnam about a decade ago. Due to its high economic value and favorable market demand, trout farming has developed strongly in areas with suitable topography, geology, and climate, including Phja Oắc mountain.
